It's seven and a half minutes of honesty and reason. Enjoy.

Crispin Freeman Announces 'Durarara!!' - A New Show on Adult Swim
Crispin Freeman is an incredible voice talent, and if you've watched an animated series, anime, or played a video game in the last ten years, then there's a really good chance you've heard some of his work.
In this video he has the honor of announcing a new show on Adult Swim, and I'm really looking forward to checking it out!
Enter 'DURARARA!!'
Also, Crispin is an impressively accomplished media scholar, and will be teaching a sci-fi and fantasy mythology class at the Vidiots Annex in Los Angeles starting June 22, 2011. For those of you who get into a little film study style analysis, it should be a fantastic course.
For more info on Crispin's class head over to the Vidiots Annex!

Astro Boy Voice Cast Announced!

I'm a big ol nerd. Don't care what you say. Astro Boy is teh awwsum...
I'm pretty stoked for this movie. Imagi Studios is producing, and I thought they did a fantastic job with the look of TMNT (that and I'm pals with "Donatello" so I'm a little biased lol), and I think that's exactly the kind of treatment a property like Astro Boy should get. I'm really happy they decided against a live action film. Unlike say, a certain Speedy film about a car Racer that may or may not have been recently released.
Superherohype.com has the scoop on all the voice actors:
Slated for worldwide theatrical release in 2009, "Astro Boy" will feature the voices of Academy Award®-winning actor Nicolas Cage, Donald Sutherland, Nathan Lane, Bill Nighy and Eugene Levy with Freddie Highmore in the title role. David Bowers is directing ASTRO BOY from a screenplay written by Timothy Harris, with Maryann Garger producing.I have to say, that cast looks pretty great. David Bowers is an ... interesting choice to direct (I'm pretty sure his last film was Flushed Away), and I'm curious to see how he handles action.
Astro Boy Rawks!
I'm really looking forward to seeing how this turns out.
I'm SUCH a nerd...

Batman: Gotham Knight - on track for summer release!

I love the idea of a Dark Knight prequel bridging the gap between Dark Knight and Batman Begins. Also the anthology aspect of it is pretty exciting. My favorite thing about the The Matrix sequels was it gave us The Animatrix.
And since it doesn't look like we're getting Spawn anytime soon...
So if you're not as big of a Batman freak as I am (cuz if you were you'd have seen this already, natch), but you're interested in checking out how sweet this looks, check this vid out:

Great Voice! Awkward Article!
Reginald Themistocle @ The Mass Media interviews Anime voice actor Vic Mignogna, and the write up kinda isn't great.
Vic is pretty cool though (Full Metal Alchemist, Street Fighter), and he does offer some decent advice..."What advice do you have for people who want to be voice actors?" I asked. He got serious and said, "Let me tell me you something. There is no such thing as, 'I want to be a voice actor.' They wanted to be actors first." He mentioned that many voice actors were union workers. But his advice is to develop your skills as an actor first. "Community Theater, school plays, anything that has to make you act," he said.
... well, really just read the article, cuz it's kinda funny...
