Voice of KITT, William Daniels, Provides Voice Over for Mio GPS! NOW WITH VIDEO!!!

This is such a perfect idea, I'm AMAZED no one thought of it sooner.

William Daniels is providing the voice over for turn by turn directions on a specialty "Knight Rider" branded GPS unit by Mio.

Gizmodo is reporting that the unit will go for $299 when released.

If ANYthing could unseat my current TomTom unit with John Cleese's voice, it would be this.

KITT giving you turn by turn?!?! COME ON!!!

Oh-Oh WAIT!!!

Whattabout a KARR GPS voiced by Peter Cullen!?!?!?

OMG!

I've gotta go write the Media Relations people over at Mio RIGHT NOW!

***EDIT 6/23/08***

A Youtuber by the name of "knightrideronline" has posted a video demonstration!

It's KEEN!

OK...I don't have a GPS...yet...But KITT giving me directions??....Total Coolness!....now if Michael Knight could just drive me around....;-) (Yeah, OK...I admit it!...I was a Knight Rider fan...and a Mod Squad fan...and a S.W.A.T. fan...and a Magnum PI fan...and the Original Battlestar Galactica fan...and....OK I guess I should stop now? ;-)

  2. I'm with you on ALL those old shows but SWAT. It was never nickatnight fare, so I've never seen it.

Thanks to scifi/tvland/nickelodeon I've got a head full of all those old shows. Add to your list Buck Rogers, Hulk, Night Gallery, Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock, Rockford Files, Kolchack The night stalker, Get Smart, etc.
There's some crazy good old TV floating around.

    Gawd bless Netflix.
