Apple Bullies Musicians?

Karen Haslam @ Macworld.co.uk reports on a singer that's accusing Apple of bullying musicians

"In order to gain visibility on the front page of iTunes, labels must negotiate with Apple. Apple offers good iTunes placement to artists who offer exclusive access to new songs, special discount pricing or additional material such as interviews, according to the report."

With Apple quickly becoming a multimedia company (there's really nothing that unique about their computer hardware anymore), it would be very disappointing to me if they ended up treating artists the same as the RIAA/MPAA...
