So, after watching 'The Black Donnelly's' last night AT THE EXPENSE of 'Studio 60', and tonight realizing that 'Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader' will probably trounce 'Veronica Mars', I have to wonder just what the hell is going on. Why is it SO hard to keep a well written, well produced, ensemble comedy/drama on the air? There are audiences for these shows! Really, what IS the deal?

Do The Electric Slide, Violate The DMCA???
Not quite that simple, but sure why not?
We all know about and love the DMCA (sure). For those that don't, the overly simplistic explanation of the DMCA is, you are not allowed to circumvent copy protection, and you can't post copyrighted materials online. This already technically screws us on DVD's, as we're allowed to make a back up for personal use, but anything we use to make the back up (that can get around copy protection) is horribly illegal.
Now apparently if you take a video of your crazy Aunt Iris doing the electric slide (badly) at your brother-in-law Ted's wedding (and I mean come on, who are they kidding, that wedding will never last, he's only with the skank because she pretended to have that pregnancy scare right? Right? I knOw!), and post that vid on Youtube for the whole extended family to enjoy, you can get slapped around legally for that as well. CNet has a fairly concise write up on the whole bloody affair: CLICK HERE TO READ 'Electric Slide' on slippery DMCA slope And for good measure, here's a vid of people doing the electric slide badly: YAY! DMCA VIOLATION!
***EDIT***
WHOA!
Big OLD SORRY FOLKS! I totally forgot to mention that this was a write up on Idolator, so for even good-er measure I'll also post the vid that was linked on Gizmodo:

Ghostbusters Game?
So I kinda like gaming. It's fun, and Ghostbusters is probably one of the greatest comedies EVER written, filmed, watched, whatever. It's awesome. The two together? Hmmmmmmmm...
There have been rumours flying around for years that a GB game is "in the works", but it looks like the Edmonton Sun has scooped us all:

As such, he hasn't much time left for Hollywood. Aside from a role in the Adam Sandler-starring I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, due out later this year, Aykroyd says he's pretty much done with acting after a fun, 30-plus year run. He will, however, be revisiting the role of Dr. Raymond Stantz for a Ghostbusters video game. "Universal purchased the rights from Sony for a game. I'm actually going to have to perform and do some motion capture for them. That will be next year."

I'm not really into dance music, but I thought this was a fascinating and extremely well put together exploration into the history of sampling. Check it out!
